With three sheep into five figures and a few plus points on the shearling average, it was successful sale of Blackface rams at Newton Stewart on Saturday, October 5.
This video features the joint top of the sale, from the Ferguson family's Drannandow flock, which made £14,000 to the Kays, of Hartside. The other at £14k was off Cuil which went to Dryhope, Kirkstead and Wanwoodhill.
The 198 (-15) shearlings averaged £1317.57, plus £170.39, while 29 (+4) lambs levelled at £1078.62, minus £153.38.
