A new record price of £100,000 for a shearling was paid at Lanark on October 17 – watch the new record holder from Alastair and David MacArthur, Nunnerie, Elvanfoot, get sold to Iain Campbell, Glenrath, Peebles. The sheep was brought out by Derek Brown and Craig Thornborrow, and is a son of a £6000 Elmscleugh bought at Dalmally and out of a show ewe by the home-bred Dynamo.
