Haltcliffe OK, an 18-month-old Limousin heifer from Craig and Matt Ridley, from Haltcliffe, Hesket New Market, might have failed to reach her reserve on Harrison and Hetherington’s online auction sale, but she has since been sold through the market for £12,000.The heifer, another by the top breeding sire, Ampertaine Elgin, is bred from Haltcliffe Duchess, a Haltcliffe Vermont daughter and dam of the 16,000gns Haltcliffe Justina. She sold in a two-way split to Northern Ireland breeders, Brian Little and John Fitzpatrick, Co Down
