Limousins bagged both the champion and reserve tickets at Mitchells Livestock Auctioneers’ May show and sale of 923 store cattle.

The champion from I Powley, Green Marsh, was a heifer that realised £1400, with the reserve honours presented to a bullock from Messrs Richardson, Low Garth, which made £1460.

Out with the show, a Limousin topped the steers at £1595 from Eastlands, with another of the same breed leading the heifers at £1585 for Lynedraw.
