Bullocks sold to 329.50p for a 349kg Limousin cross from Parkhouse, and to £1670 for a 607kg Aberdeen-Angus cross from Mains of Balhall.

A 373kg Simmental cross from the Riggs, led the heifer trade at 300.30p, whilst a 578kg Hereford cross made £1525 for Lamberton.

Young bulls (12) averaged 192.43p and sold to to 282.30p for a Hereford cross from Inverbrora, and to £1610 for a Limousin cross from Langstilly.

The firm also sold 206 breeding cattle which soared to £6200 for a Charolais bull from Cretlavane, with the same home selling a Limousin cow with bull calf at foot for £3350.
