The sole Lincoln Red Bull to be sold made 4000gns for Andrew Mylius of St Fort, Newport-on-Tay.
This was the March 2022-born, St Fort Bailiff, a Ballyvaddy Warlord son, out of St Fort Hetty, which goes back to Beverley Noble. Bailiff sold to the Hamilton family of Hamilton Organic Ltd, Aikengall, Innerwick, Dunbar.
Two Herefords sold to 4000gns for Fellowhills 1 Watt, from Jimmy Hodge, Fellowhills, Berwick-upon-Tweed. This 23-month-old is sired by Fellowhills 1 Talisman and bred from the Gouldingpoll 1 Double Decker daughter, Rempstone 1 Curly. He now travels to Stranraer with Robert Parker, Drumdow Farms, Ervie.
The only Hereford heifer, Moralee 1 Kylie, realised 3000gns for Tom and Di Harrison, Moralee, Eltringham, Stocksfield. The Pattersons, Kirktonhill, Lauder, got for their money a 16-month-old heifer backed by home-bred genetics being sired by Moralee 1 Kicks and out of Moralee 1 Kylie 2.
