Averages improved on the year at Harrison and Hetherington's annual sale of native store cattle at St Boswells, where bullocks and heifers cashed in at 315.55p per kg (+21.49p) and 288.44p (+17.81p) respectively.
Aberdeen Angus cross bullocks led the proceedings at £2080 from Messrs Weir, Cortleferry, and to 395p per kg from Symington Mains.
Cortleferry also topped the heifers at £1940 and 334.5p.
