The reserve champion, Seawell Selector from PM and SM Donger, secured the top price of 4500gns at a Salers show and sale at Welshpool.
The March 2022-born bull is sired by Omarsy and out of Seawell Kama and was knocked down to GJ Williams.
Gentons Solardo stood reserve senior champion for Bertand Facon of the Gentons herd, and went on to sell for 3600gns to DA Williams. This May 2022-born bull is a son of polled sire, Gentons Pablo.
The same home sold Gentons San Francisco, a January 2022-born bull for 3500gns to PJ Carrington.
Females peaked at 3100gns for the two-year-old heifer, Preenbank Snowdrop and her heifer calf at foot from Fred Robinson, Preenbank. The buyers were AJ and JA Powell of the Grove Farm herd.
The same home received 2650gns for the similarly aged heifer, Preenbank Sheree and her bull calf and Preenbank Serena sold with her heifer calf at foot for 2850gns to D and G Andrew.
