More than 240 pedigree bulls and females from seven breeds will be forward for United Auctions' Stirling Bull Sales next week.
The two-day event sponsored by Galbraith, takes place at Stirling Agricultural Centre on Sunday, May 4 and Monday, May 5 and boasts a packed programme of shows and sales.
The pre-sale shows kick off on the Sunday at 9am with Charolais bulls followed by Simmental bulls at 11am. The afternoon features Aberdeen-Angus, Salers and Beef Shorthorns, with the Limousin show of bulls from 2.30pm.
All sales will be held on Monday, starting with the Charolais bulls and females at 10am, including the dispersal of the Fife-based Olrig herd of Charolais from The Logie Farm Partnership, Logie Farm, Newburgh with 15 lots comprising cows in calf or with calf at foot, in-calf heifers, maiden heifers and young bulls.
Next through the sale rings will be Simmental bulls at noon followed by Aberdeen-Angus bulls and cows and calves, Salers bulls, a Hereford bull, Beef Shorthorn bulls and heifers. The sale of Limousin bulls will close the event.
