A four-year-old British Blue cow with Limousin bull calf led the way at Skipton Auction Mart's fortnightly sale, selling to £3100 for one of two of the reduction sales held alongside the 111 breeding cattle for Highfield Farm Partners, of Coppul, Chorley.
The same home sold another similar outfit for £2900.
Stabiliser cows with Charolais and Limousin calves from Flash House, Penistone, reached £1850.
The 431 feeding cattle included 108 young bulls, which topped at £1460 for a May 2020 born Limousin cross from Jeff Pickles, from Ribblehead.
Full clearance was achieved for the 272 store bullocks and heifers, with steers selling to £1220 from CT and EM Hammond in Harrogate.
A run of Aberdeen-Angus led the heifers at £1210 from Joe and Helen Drinkall, of Chorley.
