More than 2000 head of store cattle and 131 out of spec and cast cattle were forward for United Auctions' weekly sale which saw bullocks and heifers average 414.35p and 404.47p, respectively.
Charolais produced the top prices amongst the 1147 bullocks which sold to 578.60p per kg for three scaling 280kg from Bargany or £2540 a 604kg entry from Kinnaniel. The 845 heifers were topped at 539.40 for three 165kg Limousins from Smaladh and £2600 for a 518kg British Blue from Farden.
Young bulls (18) averaged 368.96p having sold to 406.20p for three 389kg Aberdeen Angus from Eastlands and £2080 for a 530kg Charolais from Townfoot.
The sale of 2292 store and breeding sheep peaked at £192 for Texel hoggs from Balnaboth and for Beltex feeding ewes from Blackrock.

The 28 Angus heifers sold to 448.5p for four 330kg entrie from 4 South Street, Newmill and £2010 for four weighing 548kg from Cowford, Blairs.
Bulls (36) sold to 422.6p for 336kg Charolais from Burnside of Whitefield, Forglen and £2320 for a 632kg Simmental cross from Fordmouth, Tomintoul.
On Tuesday, some 1183 store and breeding sheep including island consignments saw ewes with lambs (882) average £121.82 having sold to £165 for a Dutch Spotted two-crop with single lamb at foot from The Park, Kinaldie.
Store hoggs (113) were topped at £179 for Texels from Delnabo, Glengairn, to average £117.13 with ewe hoggs (157) selling to £185 for 14 Mules from Whitehouse Farm, Lumphanan, to level at £147.73.
Continental store hoggs from St Margarets Hope topped the island consignments at £174, to average £91.67 for 31.
