Limousin bulls sold to 14,000gns at the breed society’s show and sale at Brecon, where more than 90% sold between 4000gns and 9000gns with an 83% clearance.
Sale leader was the pre-sale champion, Ashledge Vancy, from Peter Kirton and Sons, Kinlet, Bewdley. The September 2024-born son of Ashledge Storm carries double F94L myostatins and sold to the Mash family, Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
The same home took 10,000gns for Ashledge Viaduc, a similarly aged son of Storm which also carries the double F94L myostatin. He was purchased by Simon Bedell, Bishops Castle, Shropshire. Ashledge sold five bulls at £9513.
Nealford Voodoo from the Neale brothers, Wilkie Down, Cornwall, made 9000gns to A Eggins, Plymouth. The 25-month-old is one of the first sons sold by the 27,000gns Ampertaine Superstition.
At 8200gns, Dyfri Vortex from Aled Edwards, Llandovery, was bought by AG Smout and Co, Brecon. This October 2024-born bull is a son of Narko.
Dyfri Vagrant, from the same home, was one of three bulls at 8000gns. A July 2024-born Ouistiti son, Vagrant sold to Messrs Davies and James, Llandrindod Wells.

Foxhillfarm Victory an Ampertaine Elgin son and the reserve overall champion from Mike and Melanie Alford, Devon, made the same money, selling to the Lovetium herd at Tregaron, Ceredigion.
Also making 8000gns was Woodmarsh Viscount from Mike and Catherine Gould, Shrewsbury. An Ampertaine Majestic son, he sold to C and S Thomas, Knighton, Powys.
Females sold to 6000gns to average £4191.25 for 12. Topping the trade was Beulah Songbird from the Price family, Builth Wells, Powys, who sold 10 females to average £4126.50.
