Welsh trialist, Kevin Evans, of Brecon, achieved the top price of £7000 for the field run dogs at Skipton Auction Mart's summer sale of 89 dogs, with his 18 month old Black and white bitch, Kemi Nan.

This girl is due pups in July being the daughter of his international trial winner, Derwen Doug, and was knocked down to John Jennings of Pembroke.

The same home sold another at £4200 this time for his fully broken, black, white and mottled dog, Pentre Zac, which went on to be purchased by R Jones of Devon.

Second top price of £6900 was paid for the 15-month-old, Wyverene Max from Ian Dodd of Laylianen, Finland. This black and white dog is a son of Kevin Evan’s Derwen Doug and now found a new home with Jaehoon Lee, in Korea.

The two-year-old tri dog, Ted achieved £5800 for P Mellin of Oakworth in West Yorkshire, when being knocked down to David Garvey of North Yorkshire.

Irish seller N Hirrell of County Donegal, hit a top of £4500 for a 17-month-old, part trained black and white bitch, which sold to Hew Young.

The sale prices of unbroken youngsters ranged from £600 to £2100, with the top call being an unbroken dog from D Bevan of Builth Wells, Wales. This 10-week-old, striking lilac bitch, Floss, sold to S Holt.
