Some 2961 head sold at Craig Wilson's first sale of breeding sheep saw gimmers reach a high of £700 for Texels from Mauchline Road.

Mule gimmers sold to £370 from Highfield Place whilst Mule ewe lambs peaked at £260 from Shawhead.

Texels led the 1219 store lambs at £138 from A Lambie, Knockdaw, Lendalfoot.

Texel gimmers topped the MV ring at £950 from A and S Campbell, Crawlaw.

Island consigned store lambs averaged £119.92 and sold to £125 for Suffolks from Grunnins, Ollaberry.

Breeding sheep were topped at £235 twice for Blue Texel gimmers from Drumfrennie, Banchory.
