An entry of 4623 breeding sheep forward at United Auctions’ sale at Oban saw a top price of £740 achieved for a three-crop Bluefaced Leicester ewe from Nick Milton, 4 Keil Crofts, Benderloch.
The same home topped ewe lambs at £260 with a pair of Bluefaced Leicesters, whilst gimmers peaked at £620 for a Texel from A and M Buchanan, Achnaba.
