Scottish Woodlands Ltd is a land management consultancy and contracting organisation providing specialist forestry, estate and land management services throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Trading for over 50 years and with an annual turnover in excess of £100M, client services are provided from a network of twenty branch offices, located in the main forest growing areas of the UK. Our range of services includes new woodland creation, independent timber harvesting and marketing, forestry management and maintenance services, property investment, utility contracting, landscaping, carbon sequestration and ancillary forestry support services such as woodland insurance, forest certification and digital mapping.

Our forestry operations include the supply of 1.2M tonnes of roundwood for the UK forest industry, approximately 250,000ha of managed forestry area across the UK and approximately 25% of private sector new woodland creation activity in Scotland.

The business is largely employee-owned and, having grown out of a forestry owner’s cooperative established over a century ago, the company remains committed to providing efficient, independent and industry leading services to a wide range of clients.
