IAIN KYLE, forestry manager at Davidson and Robertson, has bolstered his many years of practical woodland management experience with an academic qualification.
Following two years of part time study, Mr Kyle has graduated with an MSc in Forestry Management from Harper Adams University in Shropshire, the only Harper student to graduate from this course in 2018.
This academic qualification backs up Iain’s considerable practical experience in forestry, gained over more than thirty years working in the timber industry. With rising timber prices, the D and R Woodland and Forestry service which was started almost three years ago, continues to grow at a pace.
D and R managing director Martin Hall said: "It is a fantastic achievement which follows a lot of hard work from Iain whilst still continuing to manage our woodland services. As a firm we invest in our people and encourage staff at all levels to keep learning. It keeps them at the front of their industry and adds value to our client’s businesses through a variety of workstreams. It is also great to see Harper Adams continue to deliver first rate education."
