JET SET Saddlery in Ayrshire has now reopened by the original owners after the saddlery store was due to close.
Derby House took over the Dundonald premises for five years but this summer the company decided to close their stores and concentrate on their main store in Lancashire and mail order business, and the Dundonald branch was earmarked for closure.
However, previous owners Margaret and Richard Morrison have been joined by their daughter Gillian Bell who will be the day to day working partner of the store. They are delighted to be back and are picking up the reins of the business which previously traded in Prestwick and Dundonald.
Experience built up over the previous 18 years of ownership by the Morrison's will enable the shop to again offer a wide range of leading branded goods. Gillian has ridden since she was a child and along with the knowledgeable staff aim to provide a quality service to all customers.
"The new team at Jet Set have been working hard to provide a smooth transition to a store with the variety, choice and value customers will want," said Richard.
"Jet Set's key aim is to provide popular brands of outdoor and country clothing as well as practical everyday equestrian wear and equipment."
Feeding and supplements will also be on sale.
Future plans include an online shopping site.
