THE FIRST ever shipment of British Charolais embryos to France has been made.
The grade one embryos have been flushed from the polled Charolais heifer, Alwent Eugenie, to complete an export order for Genes Diffusion, the French genetics co-operative based near Lyon.
Bred by Steven Nesbitt, the embryos were by the homozygous Canadian bred bull, Hicks Revolver and out of Alwent Eugenie, which is within the breed's top 1% with a TI +42 and SRI +49.
