CASE IH has upgraded its fixed chamber round baler models for next year.
The revised 122cm x 125cm RB 545 stand-alone and RB 545 Silage Pack combination balers have a new 2.2m pick-up with 5.5mm tines on five tine bars. A 20-blade chopper is standard, offering 0, 10°, 10-blade or 20-blade engagement, with 52mm minimum theoretical chop length.
A hydraulic drop floor is standard with the option to add a rotor de-clutch system for increased protection, and ten-rib chamber rollers replace the former four-rib units.
There's a faster-operating duckbill system wraps netting over the bale edges, while a pre-wrapping feature on the RB 545 Silage Pack pre-wraps bales with film for improved air exclusion upon subsequent full wrapping.
Options include a bale turner and larger flotation tyres.
