ROAD-LEGAL versions of some of Can-Am’s most popular models will front their stand at the show.
The road-going Can-Am Traxter HD8 from BRP, will make its UK debut on stand 34.
This side-by-side vehicle has been developed to meet PUWER (provision and use of work equipment regulations) guidelines for agricultural vehicles. It is also compliant with EU emissions regulations.
It also had to pass new tests for its construction, environmental and propulsion unit performance, vehicle braking and functional safety requirements, which came into force a year ago.
The road legal Traxter on show is powered by the 799cc 50hp V-twin engine. This new vehicle will spearhead a wide range of versatile workhorse road legal and agricultural ATVs and side-by-sides from the Outlander and Traxter line-ups.
Paul Wood, BRP commercial manager UK and Ireland, said: “The Royal Highland is a key event in our calendar as it attracts a wide-ranging demographic of visitors including our key target audience – commercial and recreational users, so we are excited to debut the road legal Can-Am Traxter at this year’s event.”
