Extra convenience and luxury are the main features behind the latest Kodiak 450 EPS and Kodiak 450 EPS SE models from Yamaha.

The 2020 spec' models can also come up with a new high specification On Command drive system, similar to that on the top of the range Kodiak 700 EPS and Grizzly 700 models.

This industry-leading system features a diff-lock function for added traction in extreme terrain, allowing users to switch easily and quickly between two-wheel-drive, four-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive with diff-lock at the press of a button.

This means users can select the appropriate drive option to best suit prevailing terrain and surface conditions. The status of the On Command drive is displayed on the handlebar-mounted LCD dashboard, to keep the rider informed.

In addition, both these new Kodiaks are also equipped with a factory-fitted WARN VRx25 winch that has a 25% increase in capacity over previous models. Able to pull more than 1134kg and equipped with a mechanical brake and 15m steel rope, this higher spec' winch enhances the ATV's functionality.

The Kodiak 450 EPS is also available in a new olive green finish, together with the existing Yamaha blue, plus camo options. The EPS SE comes in a matt silver body with matching graphics and polished aluminium wheels.

These mid-sized ATVs each have electric power steering as standard to help make the most of the high-torque 421cc four-stroke engine, with electronic fuel injection. Long-travel suspension with gas shock absorbers keeps the machiens comfy off-road.

The practical options include being able to carry 120kg on the racks and tow 600kg.
