THE FAMOUS blue of New Holland will be seen on a range of cultivation equipment following a deal between it and Italian tillage machine manufacturer, Maschio Gaspardo.

Under the new supply agreement, disc harrows and subsoilers will be sold exclusively under the New Holland brand name through its dealerships in 2021. This expected to plug a gap in New Holland's current offering which was supplied following its purchase of Kongskilde.

Carlo Lambro, brand president of New Holland Agriculture, commented: “We are very pleased with our new partnership with Maschio Gaspardo. We are constantly looking at improving and extending our offering to provide our customers around the world with innovative and complete solutions to their farming needs.

"In Maschio Gaspardo we have a partner with long-standing experience and a leader in its field, so that with this agreement, we are bringing their first-rate products to our customers, further widening the choice of implements to meet their tillage requirements with high-quality equipment.”

Mirco Maschio, president of Maschio, added: “We already have a consolidated OEM supply partnership with New Holland. We are proud of this new prestigious project as it also confirms the high-quality standards achieved by Maschio Gaspardo for its products and the offered customer service. It is another important building block for our growth.”

In 2021, the first products to be supplied under the agreement will be the SDM and SDH compact speed disc cultivators, and the SUM and SUH subsoilers. These will be suited to New Holland’s tractor ranges from the T5 Series tractors up to the 300-hp T7 Heavy Duty models, it said.
