Massey Ferguson will be at the Royal Highland Show exhibiting its full range of compact and larger tractors, grass and cereal harvesting machinery, along with the updated telehandler models.
The smallest machines on the stand will be the MF 1M.25 and MF 2M.65 compact tractors, which are part of the revised lineup that now includes nine models. The MF 1M.25 on stand has a mid-mounted, 1.5m mower deck fitted with a hydrostatic transmission for precise control.
MF’s 2M.65 is the largest in the new-look lineup of compacts, offering mechanical or hydrostatic transmission and a 65hp output. At the rear, up to 1600kg can be lifted from the linkage and a 48l/min hydraulic pump is large enough to run demanding implements. Both models on stand have the option of an air-conditioned cab and a wide choice of agricultural or turf tyres.
Also at the show will be an MF 8S.225 Xtra tractor, part of the updated MF 8S Xtra range that beat six competitors to be awarded the most fuel-efficient tractor in its class by the DLG PowerMix tests. The MF 8S Xtra Dyna E-Power achieved first place overall with fuel savings from 4 to 22g/kWh in the 330hp category, while the MF 8S Xtra Dyna-VT achieved second place in the CVT transmission category.

Massey Ferguson expands compact tractor range with seven new models
The tests included 14 transport and field applications at different speeds and working loads, and with PTO and hydraulic-driven implements. These results translated into the MF 8S Xtra series of tractors helping farmers achieve fuel savings up to 3.74 l/hr, or 18,727 litres over 5000 working hours.
The flagship MF 9S.425 will be a big draw for showgoers, and the latest MF 7038 telehandler, with Dyna-CT transmission, which features a second hydraulic motor so operators no longer need to stop and change ranges. There’s also the start and stop function to keep hours low and save fuel, Dynamic Telehandler Management to reduce engine rpm at maximum speed, and cruise control for constant speed control on the road and in the shed.
