Polaris has added a new entry-level model to its Ranger utility vehicle range with the launch of the Ranger 500.
Aimed at farmers, smallholders and estate owners, the compact side-by-side is powered by a ProStar 500 engine and is designed for day-to-day jobs including hauling feed, towing trailers and transporting tools around the farm.
The Ranger 500 measures less than 1.5m wide, allowing it to fit through narrow gateways and work in confined spaces around livestock buildings and yards. It has a 680kg towing capacity, while the gas-assisted tipping cargo bed can carry up to 227kg.
Standard features include a roof, LED headlights and a 1134kg front-mounted winch. Polaris’ automatic four-wheel-drive system provides extra traction when conditions demand it, while VersaTrac Turf Mode is designed to minimise damage when working on grass.

The Ranger 500 is available in Stealth Grey and is backed by a two-year warranty. Prices start from £9999 excluding VAT, with a range of optional accessories also available.
