Shelbourne Reynolds will showcase upgrades to its 2026 range of Powermix Wide Body diet feeders, from 24cu/m to 30cu/m, at AgriScot. The enhancements are designed to boost wear resistance and extend the lifespan of the machines.
Four key areas are now constructed from stainless steel: the bolt-in sidewall panels, the centre auger tube, the auger flighting, and the floor. This means all parts of the lower tub and auger that come into contact with feed are fully stainless, with tubs and augers also welded using stainless steel wire.
A new optional centre-mounted rear door has been introduced, allowing operators to discharge pre-mixes directly into bunkers from the back of the machine.

The feeders retain the proven 850mm wide front-mounted webbing conveyor, which elevates feed to either side of the machine while keeping a clear, unobstructed view of material as it exits onto the conveyor.
On display at AgriScot, the Powermix Wide Body 24cu/m features a standard steering rear axle combined with a 24-tonne parabolic sprung suspension assembly.
“Shelbourne Reynolds is constantly monitoring wear on high daily tonnage machines in order to continually evolve the machine design to both last longer and be easier to refurbish for high tonnage users,” says Neil Smith of the company.
“Our studies with existing customers have shown that stainless steel has significant benefits over Hardox and other higher-grade steel in a diet feeder application. These upgrades will further enhance the systems’ performance and durability which are core to the company’s pedigree.”
