New Holland launches C314X tracked loader - electric model

The machine made its public debut at Agritechnica 2025, alongside other models from the Light Equipment lineup.

The electric C314X builds on the success of the diesel-powered C314, first introduced in 2023. Designed and built in-house, the new model combines the versatility, performance and manoeuvrability of a conventional mini track loader with the benefits of electric drive: zero emissions, lower noise, immediate response from both drive and hydraulics, and a reduced carbon footprint.

At prototype stage, the C314X is powered by a 23.5kWh lithium-ion battery running three electric motors – two for propulsion and one for hydraulics. The machine promises comparable capabilities to diesel equivalents across multiple applications, with lower total cost of ownership thanks to reduced maintenance, fuel savings and zero power consumption when idle.

The loader features a radial lift boom with a rated operating capacity of 460kg and a hinge pin height of 2.2m. Two undercarriage options are offered: a wide track with 250mm rubber tracks (total width 1026mm) and a narrow track (total width 890mm), making it suitable for tight gates and doorways.

Operator comfort and control are central to the C314X design. As a stand-on machine, it allows the operator to step onto a rear platform and begin work immediately, using ergonomic joysticks for precise handling. The machine’s compact yet powerful design makes it suitable for livestock and horticultural farms, landscaping contractors, and residential construction projects, with multiple attachments available for digging, loading, drilling and more.

New Holland opened orders for the C314X before the end of 2025, with deliveries expected from Spring 2026.
