DAIRY FAMERS in the Kilmarnock area have been invited to a specialist seminar this week, offering an insight into the future of the dairy industry.
The ‘Shaping a dairy industry of the future’ seminar is being hosted by animal feed company, ForFarmers, in conjunction with the More Project, and aims to outline the 'pivotal role' that dairy producers will play in shaping the future of the wider dairy industry; providing healthy milk, from healthy cows, for healthy people.
The speakers at the event, Neil McAleese from the Ayrshire Growth Board, Dr Emilie Combet-Asprey, from the department of Human Nutrition at Glasgow University, and Vincent Chatellier, marketing manager at Valorex, will provide expert analysis of the challenges and opportunities facing the dairy industry and what can be done to secure its long-term growth and success.
The meeting is free to attend and will be held at the Fenwick Hotel, Kilmarnock, KA3 6AU this Wednesday, March 6, at 7.30 pm. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. Please register attendance with Amanda Christison on 7803 286770 or amanda.christison@forfarmers.eu.
