Making big bale silage on March 1. Brian Paxton's McHale Fusion3+ was making 2.5 bales to the acre from a re-seed coming through from being under arable silage last year at Whiteleys Farm, near Stranraer. "It was very good stuff and the earliest I have ever made silage," said Mr Paxton.
