A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a wilful fireraising.
The incident happened around 5pm on Tuesday, July 28, when a barn at Setonhill Farm, Longniddry was set on fire.
Fortunately no one was injured and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
However damage totalling £250,000 was caused to a tractor and other agricultural equipment along with around 100 tonnes of straw bales. The fire also caused damage to the barn itself.
The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, Friday, July 31.
