A MAN who was recovered from the Forth and Clyde Canal in Clydebank has died in hospital.
Police are treating the death of the 55-year-old as unexplained, but say there are no "apparent suspicious circumstances".
The man was recovered from the canal in Linnvale and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital at around 4.45pm on Friday, but died later that night.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We were made aware of a 55-year-old man having been recovered from the Forth and Clyde Canal near Livingstone Street in Clydebank around 4.45pm on Friday, November 27.
"He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but was pronounced dead later that evening.
"His death is being treated as unexplained, though there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
"A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal."
