The Irish in-lamb gimmer, Diamond Dakota, was knocked down at 11,000gns to top the Dutch Spotted female sale at Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
The gimmer from Emma Allen and Allan Shortt's Diamond flock, from Strabane, Co Tyrone, is an AI daughter of Challoch Bearskin, a tup that has bred progeny to 7000gns, and out of the imported ewe, Bella.
She sold in lamb to the privately purchased Drumkirk Decider, which has sired lambs to 6500gns, to Henry Jewitt, of the Sunnybank flock, Gracies Farm, Barnard Castle, Co Durham.
