IT WAS a win win win at the one one one Kilpatrick Foal Show for Neil Christie, Dalfoil, Stirling, last weekend.

He won the 111th show with Dalfoil Lady Eliza at Craig Wilson's Ayr Market, where there was a turnout of 20 horses on parade. She was taking the honours on only her second outing after winning the senior filly class.

Eliza was was the top pick for judge Sandy Aitken, from Newton Glen Clydesdales, from Forfar. She was sired by the champion of the decade, Doura Magic Touch and out of Neil’s prize-winning mare, Littleward Doreen.

Trotting into the reserve overall spot, after taking top honours in the senior section, was the four-year-old mare, Boat Lady Ailsa, from Allan Craig and Agnes Jackson, Biggar. This Dillars Top Gun-sired mare, out of Boat Legend Lady Eliza, has had a successful winter season for the Boat team, including taking the reserve supreme in November at Ormiston Foal Show.

Reserve in the senior section was Christer Paulsson’s yearling filly Herkules Melania. This filly was produced by the team from Doura Clydesdales and was sired by Freedom Majestic Dreamliner out of Herkules First Lady.
