Yamaha is adding a generous 10-year belt warranty to models using its well-proven Ultramatic transmission, which should added peace of mind for users and contributing to reducing long-term ownership costs.

The warranty covers all assembled V-belts on the European models for the current 2022 model year.

The side-by side models running this transmission include the Wolverine RMAX 1000, Wolverine 850 and Viking 700 vehicles. While the Kodiak 450, Kodiak 700 and Grizzly 700 ATV models will also benefit from the new warranty period.

Yamaha’s Ultramatic automatically provides the optimum drive ratio, so instant power is always available to the operator, while all-wheel engine braking makes it easy to carry out controlled descents. Benefits include low speed pulling power and the ability to seamlessly get up to speed without the need for gear changes.

Polaris' EPS offer

Polaris UK is offering Sportsman 570 buyers its electric power steering (EPS) version for the same price as a standard ATV when purchased from a Polaris dealer.

Running until the end of March, this free upgrade will give customers the benefits of EPS at no extra cost. Electric power steering ensures less muscle power and effort is needed to steer the ATV – perfect for low-speed manoeuvres like reversing up to a trailer, turning around tight corners or parking.

Overall ride performance on this model has also been enhanced thanks to a powerful 18AH battery, major improvements to the engine braking system (EBS) for safer descents and a more controlled ride, plus a new clutch for smooth engagement at low speeds.

Partnered with leading security experts, ATVTrac, all new Sportsman models will have its proven tracker as standard. ATVTrac boasts a 94% recovery rate, with more than £11m worth of stolen machines recovered to date.

As well as the free upgrade and free security tracker, the Sportsman 570 comes with free Easi training for one operator, worth £180.
