Having set off on his journey on Tuesday, Alan Turnbull, is taking part in a charity tractor and float run in memory of Lorna Foubister, and has already raised over £14,000.
The tractor and float was on display at this year's Royal Highland Show
A trustee of the Scottish National Fat Stock Club, Alan, started from Lorna’s family home, which is Chalmerston Farm, Stirling, and is travelling up to her home farm, Hannahatoft, Shapinsay, Orkney, and back to raise money for Cancer research UK.
Companions, Jamie Galbraith, Scott Willox and John Paul are also taking part in the journey having all worked closely with Lorna, who worked at ScotBeef, and helped with SNFSC's Premier Meat Exhibition.

You can keep up with the trip by heading to the Scottish National Fat Stock Club's facebook for regular updates and of course there is still plenty of time to donate which can be done here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/alan-turnbull
