Three northeast flocks have endured three separate dog attacks across the region in the last two months. On December 12, two sheep were killed and two badly injured during a dog attack at a farm near Fyvie.

The following day, a separate incident occurred at Birnie in Morayshire where a dog killed a sheep on a farm, resulting in charges being issued. Meanwhile, at Netherley near Stonehaven, a person was charged with livestock worrying offence.

Other crimes reported in the area include an L200 pick-up and two quad bikes stolen in the Bainshole area, near Huntly. The L200 was recovered the next day in North Yorkshire.

Meanwhile, on January 6, an Ifor Williams 550 horsebox was stolen from a rural property near Tarland. Also, a farm near Keith had an Ifor Williams TT50K tipping trailer stolen on November 28.

Near Aberdeen, inquiries are ongoing following reports of a number of wild birds being shot near Loch of Skene on November 16. Elsewhere, at Turriff, five five-gallon drums of red diesel were stolen from a rural property in the Forglen area on January 13.
