A farm is opening its gates for a day of family fun and a behind-the-scenes look at modern agriculture.
Solsgirth Home Farm in Dollar will welcome visitors as part of Open Farm Sunday on June 8, offering a chance to explore a working farm, meet animals, and learn more about where food comes from.
Jan Dixon, who helps run the farm, said: "This is our third year taking part in Open Farm Sunday, and we’re really excited to welcome visitors back to the farm.
"It’s such a brilliant opportunity to connect with our local community and share what life on the farm is really like.
"We’re passionate about helping people understand where their food comes from and the work that goes into producing it.

Open Farm Sunday is a nationwide event organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), giving people of all ages the chance to discover farming first-hand.
Visitors to Solsgirth Home Farm can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities from 10am to 3pm.
The day will include sheep shearing demonstrations, tractor displays, and wool spinning.
There will also be opportunities to try milking, meet donkeys and Clydesdales, and interact with smaller animals like chicks, ducklings, and goats.
The event aims to highlight the importance of British agriculture and the work farmers do to feed the nation while caring for the countryside.
Visitors will learn about food production and the farm’s efforts to protect the environment.
The team will be on hand to answer questions and explain how modern farming works.
