DANCERS from Galashiels will take to the stage at the annual Border Union Show.
The prestigious event – held on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 – is being staged at Springwood Park Showground in Kelso.
Included in the entertainment billing will be performers from the Graham School of Highland Dancing.
Society Secretary Dan Withall said: “We are excited about the Border Union Show in 2025.
“This family-focused event reaches out to welcome visitors from around the world to Kelso and the Scottish Borders and continues to provide an important commercial and influential gathering of land based industries within the region.”\

Friday is the equestrian showcase with over 600 entries in a myriad of classes complemented by Saturday’s heavy horse displays and the elegant Carriage Driving Society’s Scottish Show.
Over 800 sheep entries will make their way to compete from 30 breeds, exhibiting alongside the cattle lines, goat section, rabbits and alpacas.
The art of freestyle Motocross is becoming a crowd favourite at events all over the world.
With years of experience, Broke FMX stunt display team are dedicated to electrifying crowds of all ages with athletes jumping 35 feet in the air pulling acrobatic stunts over gaps approaching 100 feet.
Showground entertainment continues on both days including the Mini Horse Show performing three times per day alongside the popular Sheep Show all in and around the new entertainment ring.
The music stage will have a full programme on both days showcasing some local and regional talent including the Jedburgh Brass Band.
Adding a professional touch to the Food Hall in 2025 is new partner and confirmed ‘foodie’ Wendy Barrie. Author of the Scottish Food Guide and Scottish Cheese Trail she will take audiences through the day, along with stories and cookery demonstrations from award-winning and internationally renowned Borders’ chefs, including Billy Hamilton of the Buccleuch Arms.
Also in attendance will be Jim ‘The Lamb Man’ Bell and Borders butcher Ryan Briggs with their famous tag team slot demonstrating butchery at the highest level.
The Border Food Hall and farmers market will host stalls and offers of great food and delicacies to treat the family including local meats, ice cream and a variety of local ales and specialities.
