This autumn has seen 17 Claas apprentices successfully complete their Claas UK Apprenticeship, marking the start of their careers as fully qualified Claas Service Engineers.

Held on October 10, the graduation ceremony also celebrated the first group of students from dealerships in England and Ireland to complete the in-house apprenticeship programme launched in 2022, which is based at the Claas Academy in Saxham.

Claas UK welcomed 13 of the 17 graduates, along with family members and dealership representatives, to Saxham for the occasion.

Of those receiving certificates, 10 apprentices from dealerships in Scotland and Ireland had studied at SRUC Barony and achieved an IMI Level 3 Diploma. The remaining seven graduates completed the in-house Claas Academy Apprenticeship Programme, earning a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

Graduation marks just the beginning of their professional journey. Working with their respective dealerships, the newly qualified engineers will benefit from continued training and development opportunities to enhance their skills further, with potential progression into Master Mechanic or Master Technician roles, or even management positions within their dealerships or Claas UK itself.

This year’s graduates represent the following dealerships:

  • Claas Eastern
  • Claas Western
  • Claas Manns
  • Morris Corfield
  • Hamblys
  • Rickerby
  • Sellars
  • Gordons
  • Kellys
  • Breens
  • Alan Douglas
