A FARM is offering families the chance to get up close with lambs as part of a hands-on springtime experience.
Jacksons at Jedburgh, a farm visitor attraction in the Borders, will reopen to the public on April 1, giving visitors the opportunity to witness lambing season first hand.
The experience allows children and adults to meet new-born lambs and see life on a working farm during one of its busiest times of the year.
Jasmine Jackson said: "Easter is a really special time on the farm because it’s right in the middle of lambing season.
"Many families never get the chance to see lambing or meet new-born lambs up close, so we love opening our gates and giving visitors the opportunity to experience it for themselves – especially the chance to feed the bottle lambs, which is always a favourite."
The farm will offer tractor and trailer tours, hands-on activities, and the opportunity to bottle-feed lambs.
The tours take visitors on a guided journey across the farm to see sheep and lambs in the fields, while learning about the daily work involved during lambing season.
As a family-run enterprise, Jacksons at Jedburgh aims to connect visitors with farming and rural life.
