Some 19 entries were forward for the Ridden Clydesdale final staged at Scone Palace International Horse Trials, where Peter Keron, Perthshire, judged conformation and Yvonne Pringle, Midlothian, judged the ride put the horses through their paces.
Coming out on top was the eight-year-old mare, Gersa Lady Lauren from Mike and Jacqueline Munro, Thurso. Lady Lauren is sired by Cawdor cup stallion Arradoul Balvenie and is out of West Glen Apple Blossom. She qualified for the final at Fife Show.
Reserve was Brian Bisset, Caithness with Stobilee Zac ridden to success by Isla Miller. Sired by Great American GW Carver and out of Stobilee Ruby the 14-year-old gelding qualified at Caithness Pony Club Show. He boasts an honourable show record including qualifying for HOYS for eight years consecutively and winning at the World Clydesdale Show.
