Knoweside Dinabeast Lana leads Holstein honours for Knowe

The event at Gartcraig, by kind permission of the Brown family was topped by Knoweside Dinabeast Lana, a February 2026-born calf by Progenisis Dinabeast on her show debut. She headed the section ahead of her stablemate Crossfell Haveadream Rhapsody, an August 2025-born calf by Duckett Haveadream, which was reserve. Rhapsody was bought from the Metcalf family at the Royal Highland Show in June, where she also stood reserve.

The Red and White honours were presented to Kevin and Alison Lawrie’s Arranview Rompen Tequila Red from Myremill, Maybole. This April 2025-born calf by Trent Way JS Rompen Red was champion calf at UK Dairy Expo and Ayr Show.

Runner up was the April 2025-born Nethervalley SS Acetylene Supra Red, from the Scott family, Shacklehill, Tarbolton. She is sired by Luck E Acetylene Red.

Tommy Borland (10), Mossbog topped the showmanship section, with John Caldwell, Ladyyard, runner-up.
