It’s just after Hallowe’en and now we’re heading for a winter showdown of a General Election.
This will give us all the ability to throw out those ghaists and ghoulies – you don’t wanna be grabbed by them in the dark – who have turned Brexit into an unholy shambles.
We can only hope that this winter of our discontent, can be turned into a summer of bright hope and a renewal of our faith in the political system.
But we shouldn’t hold our collective breaths on that. There may yet be time for another endless round of political meandering. Time to be out with the old and in with the new(ish).
