THE ONLY certainty is uncertainty ... how many times have we heard that one this year. It’s now become something of an old chestnut.
What is certain, though, is the apathy that more than 12 months of political uncertainty has created will mean that few politicians will not fear that tread up a farm road to solicit votes.
Given that, it’s probably true to say that sales reps will be more welcome than any politician in the run up to the December 12 General Election date.
I fear there may be dugs, bulls and randy tups let loose across many farms to scare the living daylights out of any politician brave enough to get out of the car!
