Willie and Jean Ralston, triumphed among the Highland ponies after having bred the supreme champion they also took home the reserve ticket for themselves at LiveScot, last weekend.

It was Moss-Side Breagh II that led the way for Fiona Steel, Highfield, Huntshaw, Errolston. The yearling was bought as a foal from the Ralston stud, she is sired by Moss-Side Iain Mor and its dam, Seasprite of Caimbe. Moss-Side Breagh II won the border union this year and is set for the Royal Highland next year.

After having bred the champion Willie and Jean Ralston, Moss-side, Methven, Perth, took the blue and white sash home with Moss-Side Blaeberry. The yearling filly took the champion here last year, and took second in her class this year to the champion before going on to take reserve champion. Blaeberry is by the home-bred sire Moss-Side Domhnach, which took Winter fair champion 25 years ago, and out of Moss-Side Osla

Whitefield Sir Bruar got the winning tap to lift the foal champion for Andrew Baird, West Whitefield, Burrelton, Blairgowrie. The colt foal was on his first outing and is set to go to the foal show next week at Forfar. He is sired by Glenmuir Buzzard and out of Xenna of Whitefield.
