THE SENIORS took all the credits going in the small, but quality dairy show at LiveScot.

Two third calvers shared the spoils for Donald Laird, Murray, Pathhead, and Willie Bryson, Dykehead, Lesmahagow, as respectively champion and reserve.

Top of the line was Cauldcoats Samurai Mollie 2, a five-year-old by Cauldcoats Samurai which calved on October 24. Classified VG89 during her last lactation, which produced 12,000kg, this year she's on target again for another top yield with 50 litres per day going in the tank.

Mr Bryson's reserve was Carnduff Comet Girl, a red and white daughter of Carrock Comet which calved in July. Classified VG87, she produced more than 12,000 litres in her last lactation.
