It was a day to remember for the Graham family, Burnbank Farm, Blair Drummond, who lifted the inter-breed cattle champion and reserve rosette's, as well as the show champion of champions title at last weekend's Drymen Show.

Taking all the plaudits was the Limousin heifer, Burnbank Rhapsody. On her first outing, she is a daughter of Carnew Millreef and out of the home-bred cow, Burnbank Janita. It won't be the last we see of this girl as she is destined for this year's Royal Highland Show.

In the Clydesdale ring, Neil Christie of Dalfoil Farm, Balfron lifted the championship title with his yearling filly, Dalfoil Lady Eliza. Sired by Doura Magic Touch and out of Little Ward Doreen, this girl is no stranger to the show ring having already won the Milngavie Foal Show back in January and standing second in her class at this year's Stallion Show. Eliza will be trotting on into the show rings at Gargunnock and the Royal Highland Show.

Local breeder, Jamie Pirie of Balrnavaid Farm, Drymen came up trumps amongst the sheep when claiming the inter-breed title with his Bluefaced Leicester ewe lamb. Sired by the £12,000 P1 Blarnavaid, which sold in a three-way split between David Gray, Drumnessie, the MacGregors of Allanfauld and Sandy Hunter, Wedderburn, she is out of a £15,000 Midlock Knight Rider daughter and is another bound for this year's Royal Highland Show.
