Tulloes Alanna, from Jim and Louise Greenhill, secured the overall championship at the Forfar Foal Show, staged at the market with the kind permission of AM Phillip Trucktech Ltd.

Exhibitors from across Scotland turned out for judge Robert Hamilton from Dillars, who found his supreme the two-year old Arradoul Balvenie-sired filly out of Tulloes Lady Jane. Alanna is a full sister to the 2022 World Show champion, Tulloes Emily.

Rossie Mhairi from Ron Brewster and Helen Carr took the reserve overall and reserve senior title. Bred by Jim Neil, the seven-year-old mare is out of Rossie Mirriam and sired by the Cawdor Cup stallion Redcastle Brelee Majestic. Her last outing was at Perth Foal Show where she stood reserve senior.

Foal champion also went to the Greenhill family from Tulloes with the senior colt, Tulloes Sensation which is a full brother to both the show champion and World Show champion being sired by Balvenie out of Lady Jane. Sensation previously stood overall champion at the North of Fife Foal Show.

Collessie Gladiator was a reserve foal for the Black family from Collessie. The junior colt foal by Collessie Highlander, out of Littleward Athena has collected championships at both the Perth Foal Show and Ormiston Foal Show as well as standing third at the Clydesdale Horse Society’s champion of champions class.
