EXPERIENCED STOCKPERSON

Millantae Farms, Lockerbie

We are predominantly a beef farm 2 miles from the town of Lockerbie, that rears purchased dairy bred calves through to finishing. We have modern cattle and sheep handling facilities.

We grow most of our own crops including barley, and have a flock of 100 breeding ewes.

The job would only suit someone with experience, that can work both on their own and as part of a team with a keen interest in beef cattle.

The knowledge and experience in modern farm equipment is a requirement as ability to operate diet feeder, straw bedders, loaders, some tractor field work and cattle weighing facilities are all important.

Competitive Salary dependent on level of experience. A local 3 bedroom house is available if required.
