LAND OFFICERS

Salary from £45,610 (negotiable based on experience)

SP Energy Networks are currently recruiting Transmission Land Officers to join their Land & Planning Team, working to secure the appropriate land rights required to install and keep installed the transmission network in order for the business to deliver its statutory obligations and Business Plans.


The key objectives of the post will be to support the delivery of strategic electricity grid infrastructure projects and customer connections, whilst ensuring compliance with Licence Obligations, Statutory Regulations, Company Policies & Contractual commitments.


Candidates should ideally have:
• Sound agricultural knowledge,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Good IT skills
• Understanding of the land rights required to deliver infrastructure projects
• Appreciation of the impacts of construction activities.


Applicants must have a full valid driving licence.


Working as part of the land team, your daily role will include liaising with landowners, their professional representatives and internal project teams. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of proposed new infrastructure projects, connections, refurbishment or decommissioning projects by meeting the project delivery programmes at the same time as maintaining strong relationships with our key customers, namely the landowners, who’s land support our infrastructure projects.
